Arm and Leg Injuries

This includes the shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, knees and feet (a.k.a. “extremities).  Many people associate chiropractors with spinal adjustments only and don’t realize that chiropractors can also help with many problems located in the extremities that may arise from injury, repeated overuse, or biomechanical imbalances.

Some examples of problems chiropractors can help with include:

Heel or arch pain (plantar fasciitis)

As with conditions related to the spine, chiropractic treatments of extremities may include soft tissue therapy or muscle release, specialized adjustments/manipulations and joint mobilizations.

It is advisable to mention any extremity pain during an office visit. The chiropractor can determine whether this is a condition that can be relieved or managed with chiropractic care.
